He packs a lifetime of knowledge about working with oils into one highly readable book, and he does so with humility and humor. His DVD’s are really helpful, also. The International Association of Pastel Societies has a listing of all regional pastel societies as well as offering a bi-annual convention that brings together many of the best pastel artists in the country. www.pastelinternational.com If you live in the upper midwest, check out the Great Lakes Pastel Society.
